I personally almost never click on videos from creators I don't know, and most of the time, when I click on other creator's videos, it's because they talk about similar stuff, or because another cc I DO watch collaborated with them, or has similar thumbnails to my favorite ccs. Danny Gonzalez's thumbnail style lead me to a smaller UA-camr called Mebby. Chad Chad lead me to Jarvis, etc. etc. I find that the scroll stoppers don't work for my brain, so I couldn't really see how these would work for me. However, I saw how this might make videos clickable to certain people. I just have biases, I guess. :) As for the text thing, I've always enjoyed seeing text as a main character in a thumbnail, like (sorry for using so much danny gonzalez, I just love his vids and thumbnail's) Danny Gonzalez's video about MGK's movie. It adds, in my opinion, to the title. The title, "Is MGK's Movie Actually Genius?" by itself could get us thinking we aren't going to see the normal style of video until we see the thumbnail. Just the word, "NO." on the screen will make some people laugh, (such as myself) while at the same time, alerting people to the fact that it's your usual type of Danny Gonzalez movie review. I've also always thought about how awkward it would be to pose for thumbnails. Honestly, though, this video was very helpful, and stimulating, even if I personally don't normally click on thumbnails from creators I don't know, or creators who don't make similar content to the current ccs I watch.

All I can say is DOPE! Excellent value provided. What book will you suggest to understand human psychology better, to make better content?

It’s funny because I only go off notifications & not the home/recommended page anymore. UA-cam gets one chance to show me a random video and it’s the one right under the video I’m watching (on mobile). So I guess this video lucked out!
